Kinect Fusion Explorer - error: Unable to invoke library 'Kinect20.Fusion.dll' RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    I am using:
    -Kinect for Windows v2 sensor
-the  weekly development kits (e.g. the one from 7/29/2014)
    -Kinect Fusion Explorer

The compiled example (under "SDK Browser") runs fine

Problem: When I compile the code using Visual Studio 2012, the UI starts, but fusion does not work, error message in the status bar:
    "Unable to invoke library 'Kinect20.Fusion.dll'"

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks,

    Edgar

  • The problem was that the Visual Studio project within the code Kinect Fusion delivered had the wrong setting.

The "Platform target" was set to "Any CPU"

If it is set to only x64, the program runs fine.

  • did you copy the .dll to the executable folder? These have been updated in the build that was released last week for DPP(K4Wv2Weekly20140806). There have been many changes and stability added to Fusion in this build.
