Reset results in 80070490

Question
-
My developer preview suddenly stopped working today. I tried doing a reset through the control panel, but nothing would happen. So I tried doing it through the bios and it just says:
Unexpected error
80070490
An unexpected error
occurred. No further
assistance is available.
Where do I go from here?
Edit: I guess I should specify, "Stopped working" meaning services are continually crashing, windows update no longer works. I tried a "Refresh" which worked, but issues remain.

can’t use the support link, and I have the same problem. 80070490 refers to corrupted or missing files, is there a way to regenerate the recovery (push button reset) partition?
