  • That icon is not a button that we can repurpose. To prevent multiple people editing one document, try the Skydrive, or new SharePoint. First user check out the document, other people can only read, but could not edit the document.

    thanks.

  • Hello,

I have an Office 2010 addin developed with VS2010, I want to disable co-authoring for Word/Powerpoint documents, so I tried this link:

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff934617.aspx#bkmk_dis_ca_gp

But when I open a document saved in Sharepoint (2003) the FileSave icon remains with two green arros, like this:  (and the gpo was applied....)

someone knows how to avoid this icon??

    thanks!

    Mauricio.

Could you please tell me where this icon appears?

I look forward to your reply.

  • Hi Quist,

this icon appears in Word 2010 or Powerpoint 2010 when I open a document from Sharepoint 2003. If I didn't missunderstood, this icon means that co-authoring is enabled....

    thanks,

    Mauricio.

  • Hi Forrest,

ok with that, but I could use that icon in my buttons? (like I use "FileSave" idMso)

My problem is that I have in ribbon a custom button with imageMso="FileSave", and also have the default Save button on the quickbar, so when a document is saved into Sharepoint, the icon in the QAT change but the icon in my custom button remains the same...

    thanks,

    Mauricio.

  • As far as I know the image of custom button could not change dynamically.
