Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint Copy and Paste methods throwing Clipboard Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, Due to the extended Clipboard lock Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint "Copy" and "Paste" methods are throwing Clipboard empty error. I tried with sleep and re-try logic with no luck /or performance hit.
Is it possible to write Copy to a persistent location or temporary Memory or Static Variable and assign it to Shapes by using ".AddShape" method to avoid clipboard from the equation?

Please provide some thoughts, Basically looking for how to achieve "Shapes.Paste" method differently, something like 'AddShape.'

Please provide some sample code/examples. Let me know if you need more details. Any help here is much appreciated.

    Thank you!
