Invalid cross-thread access error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody

In my LS application I integrate telerik Silverlight custom control to analyse the data. But when I am trying to access the custom control from LS screen I am getting the below error.

UnauthorizedAccessException was unhandled by user code

    Invalid cross-thread access.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

  • You must be on the Main thread when accessing any Silverlight DependencyObject object. LocalDataSourceProvider is likely to be a DependencyObject, based on how you are getting it, and you must only interact with it on the Main thread.
