Need some advice on how to help with Bing Maps. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just bought a Lumia 635 Windows smartphone and want to help make Bing maps a little (or a lot) more accurate. I was wondering if someone could help me with some information.

Is there anywhere online that would give me information on how to use Bing Maps for Windows Phone? I need to learn as much as possible about how to mark where various businesses are located.

Are there any programs that are set up for sending geo-loaction information t Bing Maps? It would be useful to have some software that a user could walk up to a businesses front door, click a button, input the name of the business and have that sent to Bing Maps.

Any suggestions on software to use and places to go online to educate myself would be AWESOME.

    Thanks in advance.

  • at the moment the only option is to go to the Bing maps consumer site http://bing.com/maps and use the feedback button in the bottom left corner of the page. You will have to use a computer as windows phone will just launch the mobile app. I thought the maps all in windows phone app had a feedback button but that must of been an earlier version. The map app will likely have a method for reporting issues within the app in a future update.
