  • Hi Ram,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

I am not very familiar with Enterprise Library, but as far as I know it is a collection of reusable software components (application blocks) designed to assist software developers with common enterprise development challenges. The Entity Framework is an object-relational mapper that enables .NET developers to work with relational data using domain-specific objects. It eliminates the need for most of the data-access code that developers usually need to write. Consequently, it is hard to compare them. If you want to get the better support about Enterprise Library, please try this online community for it: http://entlib.codeplex.com/

For Entity Framework, you can take a look at these pages: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/jj590134

    Good day.
