Creating a Storage Pool with mirrored virtual disks using PowerShell RRS feed

  • Initially I attempted to attach two empty disks to a VM from within Azure and then create a Storage Pool including both of these two disks. I was unable to accomplish that because in Storage and Files in Server 2012 both Physical disks will not appear. So I used MSFT Powershell to create the storage pool using the instructions found at - http://terrytlslau.tls1.cc/2012/10/configuring-storage-pool-by-powershell.html

    Now I am trying to create a mirrored virtual drive using the above storage pool. Unfortunately in the GUI I receive the error message that there are not enough Physical Disks available to create the mirror even though the pool has two disks attached to the pool. How would you use Powershell to create he Virtual Disk using two mirrored disks from the storage pool. Screen shots will follow below.
