Response.Redirect Object moved to here error RRS feed

    i have some code to do a Response.Redirect 

    first a hidden field to the page value

    Me.hidRedirectPage.Value = "GiftRegistry.aspx?EventID=" + intEventID.ToString

    then the Response.Redirect 


    it has the correct value  - https://home.smartsimcha.com/smartsimcha/GiftRegistry.aspx?EventID=182

    but the says Object moved to here.

    You have redirected, which means the "object has moved to here".  Do you see any problem that makes you think that's an error?

    I assume you are seeing this message in some testing script, not on the site being used normally.  If so, that's not an error, just information.

    When using the Response.Redirect () method, if null or "" is passed in, Object moved to here is displayed on the page.

    There are only these letters Object moved to here on a blank page. This is because the server returns a 302 instruction to the browser to request a new jump, but it does not send the URL to jump. The browser does not know where to jump. So the browser shows these letters.

    I recommend debugging through breakpoints to confirm whether the current value of Me.hidRedirectPage.Value is null or empty.
