  • Hi Biroma,

If you want to migrate the old SQL version or other database products to SQL Server 2008 or later, please refer to this Micosoft white paper which contains very descriptive information about migration process.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Arunraj, i am not actually migrating from another platform, i am migrating from a sql databse to a sql database,  for example- migrating the schemas, mapping the header colunm to the attributes, generating scripts for it and cleaning up the data before it is migrated but the problem i have is that i have little knowlegde of database design and development, i am into the admin side.  i need someone to guide me through this project and i would be ready to pay for his time. please let me know if you have that skill or you know of anyone who can to contact me on this forum or my email, dahredip66@yahoo.co.uk

  • Hi

we are updating an IT systems to provide enhanced
functionality over and above the IntefleCS
(BENs) Call Centre Product which has been in use since December 2009.

and this involves the migration of data from the current CBDB into IntefleCS.

my job now is the migration of the data, cleaning up the data, mapping the
header column to the attributes, generating scripts for it.
my problem now is that i have very little knowlegde in database design and development
and i would like someone to guide me through this project in which i would be glad to pay for his time

  • Hi

     > I am fairly new to Visio but have figured out how to reverse engineer my SQL Server Tables into a Database Diagram. I am having some difficulty developing relationships between tables...I cannot seem to get the arrow to turn on the connector. Or is there some way I could let Visio dynamically determine the relationships between tables and foreign keys defined within tables to do that for me???
     >
     > Also, I would like my tables to display the column attributes. What good is a Database Diagram without knowing the how the columns are defined. I have kicked some things around in Help with no success.
     >
     > Can someone show a Novice where to go to learn these things or provide me the help I need to accomplish these tasks???
     >
     > Any Help would be GREATLY appreciated!
     >
     > And THANKS in advance!!!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
