Allowing Multiple Active Windows? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I haver a custom user form that i have added a 'help' button to, which, when clicked it opens a seperate userform that displays some helpful information the user may need. As it is right now, when the help dialogue box is open the user cannot click on anything else or perform any seperate actions until the 'help' box is closed.

Is there a way I can allow the user to do other things while the help box is still open and available for reference? It doesnt seem like a hard fix but i cant get it.

    Thanks!

  • You can display a Userform as 'non-modal', which allows you to do other things while it is displayed, but if you have one userform non-modal, all the other ones on display must also be non-modal. To display a userform as non-modal, you use ...

        Userform-name.Show False
