  • Hi,

This is likely in memory in a dedicated server process. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178586(v=vs.100).aspx You can still read the session value as usual.

Or you may want perhaps to use the SQL Server provider but it would likely better to explain what you are trying to do as it seems you have some unusual need...

You can't read anything from a State State server it is process. There is no file. The only thing you can do is put objects and variables into session and read them from session.

The only time session information is being stored is when the State Server is SQL Server.

Storing and retreiving objects without having to worry how and where it is stored is the entire point of the Session System. You can of course write a session system youself, but as someone who wrote in PHP I can only say: Avoid it if you can! It's a lot of repsonsibility & work with no relevant advantage.

    Let's talk about MVVM: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wpf/thread/b1a8bf14-4acd-4d77-9df8-bdb95b02dbe2
