Hi:
Just want to know if I am trying to retrieve all the timesheets using psi. Does that user needs special permission. I kept on receiving the error. The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. That particular user is a domain administrator account. Do I need to use impersonation?
Thanks for your assistance.

Hi kkmick!! i think that you can retrieve the timesheet if you use surrogate timesheets, but if you don´t use them, you must use impersonation.

Jorge.

Hi,
We are currently developing a webpart for a dashboard that connects from WSS 3.0 to Project Server, we are trying to connect via the PSI web service and fetch the project data but it is giving the same error "The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized". We are having a huge issue with gaining authorization through the PSI and cannot figure out what the problem is. We are using Project Server 2007, WSS 3.0, Visual Studio 2008.
The person developing this has administrative rights on both servers and it is running on his account. He is a SharePoint developer; however, this is his first experience with Project Server. Could some provide some guidance?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Lenny
