How often can be sent requests for DistanceMatrixService()?

Hello,

Can anybody tell me please how often can requests for calculating the travel time and distance  using  DistanceMatrixService() and Google Maps be sent?

Actully I found out that the internet connection was not very good, that's why I got that messages. When I tried later with automatic calculation of the time every 20s, using the same method, it worked fine. Thanks Aidy, anyway
