    In my organization, we aren't allowed to use some characters like quotes in the url.

    Since SignalR sends the JSON object of hub names, the url gets constructed with double quotes. These url requests are blocked.

    I'm modifying the SignalR.js file to send comma separated hub names to server and modified server code as well.

    I downloaded the SignalR code from here https://github.com/SignalR/SignalR/tree/2.2.0 and making changes.

    The Apache 2.0 license lets anyone to change the code and use however it fits. So I guess license isn't an issue.

    Kindly let me know if this is fine. Will I ever get into any problem?

    Yes, the Apache 2.0 license lets you to change toe code and you can release your modified version of the Apache licensed product under any license of your choice.

    What do you mean of get into any problem?

    If you are  worrying about the license, it's fine and you don't need to worry about it.

    If you are worrying about the code, i'm not sure if your changes will lead to some problems in the feature. After you make some changes to the source code and generate your own build. You should do various test to check if the modify cause any problem.
