  • .NET core 3.0 after installation does it require  to reboot box.

    Not exactly the correct topic for this particular forum (which is mainly for questions related to building extensions for the Visual Studio IDE). But to answer your question, no it should not.

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

    Did you mean that you should restart VS, PC or restart your project? Did you install the official version of net core or the preview version?

    Before doing so, you should check release note to check if your current VS version meets the requirements of the .Net Core 3.0 version.

    ####In general, we do not need to restart PC and if you install the official version,you do not need to  do any restart. If you install the preview of .Net Core 3.0, you should check this option(Tools--Options-->Environment-->Preview Features-->use previews of the .net core sdk(require restart)) and then restart VS.
