Blob Storage command can't handle a '-' in the filename RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am running the following command in a unix BASH script:

az storage blob download --container-name $BLOBContainer --name Myfiles/$FileName  --file ./$FileName

The command errors out because the filename has a '-' (dash character) in it, and the command thinks it is a new parameter.

How can I specify a filename stored on the BLOB that has a '-' character in it.

I can't rename or copy it because that has the same issue.  I tried enclosing the filename in quotes - that didn't work either.
