    I found the answer how to put call on hold, one can use RIL_SendFlash function from RIL or from phcanvas.

  • Pushing "green" button should do. Or you can use TAPI.

    When i call TAPI API holdcall it fails. how native is putting call on hold. Do it send some kind of signal to service provider to put call on hold?

  • Yes, I would guess that's how it works. Does your service provider supports putting calls on hold? Does your code work on other phones? Other provider(s)?

  • I checked on Verizon and Sprint and behavior is same. But it is working fine on GSM phones.
