I think you can go to visual studio 2015, go to Tools \ Options \ Text Editor \ C# \ General both "Auto list members" and "Parameter information" should be unchecked.

In case you have multiple visual studio on same machine then do for both if above steps does not work.

    Thanks.

AFAIK You cannot completely disable the Intellisence in Visual Studio. However you can stop the IntelliSense automatically displays the completion list when you begin typing.

    From MSDN

To turn IntelliSense options OFF by default

    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

    2. Select the Text Editor folder.

    3. In the All Languages property page, clear check boxes for IntelliSense features that you do not want:

      • Auto list members applies to List Members

      • Parameter information applies to Parameter Info

    [C#]

In the IntelliSense property page, clear text box options or check box options for IntelliSense features that you do not want:

    • Show completion list after a character is typed

    • Committed by typing the following characters

    • Committed by pressing the space bar

    • IntelliSense pre-selects most recently used members applies to IntelliSense for Most Recently Used Members

    Hi,

anyone know how to completely disable Intellisense in VS2015?

IntelliSense is a name given to a set of features that make coding more convenient. All of the IntelliSense features can be enabled or disabled in the Text Editor, C/C++, Advanced property page.

You can use the menu items and keyboard shortcuts shown in the following image to access IntelliSense.

    Have a good day.

Thanks, but none of that works.  I'm not editing C++ files.  Just html, css, js, etc.  There does not seem to be a way to turn it off.  Both popups for that matter.

As mentioned above, to turn off intellisense in visual studio 2015, go to 'Tools | Options | Text Editor | C# | General both "Auto list members" and "Parameter information" should be unchecked. Then restart your Visual Studio 2015, and check whether it can work.

    Have a good day.
