  • You mean using some self-coded test app for wcf testing?

Yeah a testing project  within the total .Net solution,  and that test project tests all aspect between the WCF client (the testing project) and the WCF service that the testing project is consuming.

  • WcfSvcHost.exe is that thing standalone. I don't use it. I use something else and do something else to debug the WCF client and service in VS. But if that thing is standalone, is it running with admin rights?

Also, does the debugger in VS work -- period on some other type of application non WCF of soemthing.

  • Hello wilk,

Since this issue is related with WCF project, i move it to the WCF forum for getting better help.

The current forum you posted to is used to discuss and ask questions about .NET Framework Base Classes (BCL) such as Collections, I/O, Regigistry, Globalization, Reflection.

    Regards.

  • Have you tried running VS with Admin rights on Vista, Win 7 or Win 8 if using any of those O/S(s).

    Wednesday, December 3, 2014 2:52 PM
  • Tried many times, no result.

Additionally, netstat does not list port :80 as opened, but http for example works well - im able to write that now. Turned off winodws firewall, antivirus, no result

Debugging, other projects not including wcfHost work fine.
