Hi, I installed the x86 w/ Apps preview but none of the apps work - not even IE. Any ideas?

Which apps are you referring to? The developer tools are only included with the 64 bit version.
If you mean Metro apps wont run:
If you have a netbook with a 1024x600 screen Metro apps will not run. 1024x768 is the minimum for Metro apps.
Several people have reported that they can be run in you connect an external display that is 1024x768 or larger.
You can try this modification to allow higher resolutions:

That's it...it's the resolution. I can only get 1024 x 600. Can't get the link you posted to work. Thank you for the reply though - kept me from reinstalling for a 3rd time!Sunday, October 2, 2011 6:53 PM
