How do you configure IIS7 to run a plain old .cgi file??? RRS feed

    I am trying to get a parse a plain old .cgi file but am having no joy at all in IIS 7, took me all of 5 min in Apache but client is using IIS.

    You need a handler for the CGI extension.  Most comonly this is either a straight C++ CGI file, or it's a Perl file.  Install Perl if the latter, configure the CGI extension to point to Perl as the .pl files do.  If a straight C++ file, you probably have more work involved in converting code.
