How to order a "site license" of an Office App? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey everyone,

I really hope I selected the correct community?

    Problem:
I developed an Office 365 app available on Microsoft AppSource.

One of my clients wants to order a "site license" of my app.

I tried it myself but I don't see a possibility to select the amount of licenses resp. to select a "site license".

    Question:
    How is this been done?

(I really hope my client doesn't have to buy 10 single licenses until he reaches the "site license"). :D

    Thanks and best regards
    Eric

  • When you say Office 365 App, what type of content are you referring to? The answer will depend on knowing that

  • If it's your Excel Add-In then there's no mechanism to buy a site license for this add-in. Our recommendation is to work with the customer directly and have them deploy the add-in via Centralized Deployment

  • Hey Phil,

many thanks for your answers - and yes, it is my Excel Add-In.

May I ask, what a "site license" is for when submitting an add-in to AppSource?
Fyi, when submitting an add-in which has a price you may select a "site license" (1, 10, 25, 50...).

Ok... I see, I'll have to check with the customer directly.

    Thanks again and kind regards
