Azure AD Sync User is mapped to a forest error. RRS feed

  • When I run the directory sync wizard I am receiving a "user is not mapped to a forest" error. I have verified that the account is in the enterprise group. The user is the user that installed AD and is the AD Admin. Any idea what I should do to resolve the issue?

  • I was able to resolve this issue by flushing the dns and then registering the dns. The server already had the correct dns settings.

    Commands

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /registerdns.
