Metro Apps going to "Windows Store not available in Dev build" splash screen instead of running RRS feed

  • Question

  • Anyone have this issue?

    It's not the Res issue.

Now when I click on any Metro App it seems to load but takes me straight to a splash page saying the Windows App store is not available in the Dev version....instead of loading the app

However IE, settings, and desktop Apps work fine

  • Getting the same issue. I get a generic error when attempting to refresh the PC; after restart it throws something along the lines of "there was a problem, the pc was not refreshed".

Using USB installation media for installation and refresh and have the OS installed on vdisk on Win7 if that helps.

  • Hey WillyOZ and General-Elyse-Emo,

There is a solution to this problem in the thread linked below. Also Arik Cohen has requested that you post to that thread before performing the fix so that they can run some diagnostics to get to the root cause of the issue.
Store App opens, when I start any app on Metro UI for a specific user account

    Hope that helps.
