Why am I seeing the schema extension twice? RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi all

I created one SQL table just as follows:

    CREATE

    TABLE [Uds].[ConfigType](
    [config_type_id] [int] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL,
    ...

And when I generate the SELECT script it creates the "UDS" name twice? Why?

    SELECT

    [config_type_id]
    ,[created]
    ,[created_by]
    ,[config_name]
    FROM [UDS].[Uds].[ConfigType]

    Thanks

  • 3 part names are database.schema.object. It looks like your table named ConfigType was created in a database named UDS, and is owned by the Uds schema.
