SSRS Subsription EMail Goes Nowhere

Question
-
I am trying to get email to work with SSRS subscriptions. The reports and logs suggest the email was successfully sent. I am running Windows XP and using IIS. I think the problem is toi do with how IIS is set up. I have created an Alias Domain using the SMTP address for my ISP - SMPT.Tiscali.co.uk.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this to work and troubleshoot IIS to find out what is happening?

Thanks for the tip. It turns out the SMTP address I used was correct. I mis-spelt it. So I am back to square 1 but I have found these links which might help. A large part of the problem is I don't jhave much of a clue about how to configure IIS.
This refers to setting up SMTP Mail on Windows Server 2003 which is similar to XP thta I am using:

I also found this but it refers to IIS 4.0, not IIS 5.1 which I am using. Also the instructions are a bit sparse:

Patrick,
SMPT@Tiscali.co.uk. is not a valid address for an SMTP server.
the likely address is smtp.tiscali.co.uk

Hi Patrick,
It seems you have issues on how to configure SMTP server on Microsoft Windows XP.
If so, the question should be related to Mail Server. I would suggest you re-post the question in Exchange Forum to get more help.
