  • Question

  • Hello all.

I'm saving records into a table with a pdf file attached. I would like to automate sending the file to our sharepoint site on 365.

    Workflow is:

User adds an entry to the table, attaches the pdf to the entry (scan of order) and saves the record. On the form, I'd like the option for a command button to upload the pdf file attached to the record to our SharePoint site. I would need to choose a folder on SharePoint based off information in fields for that record. For instance, if the user adds an entry for Company A buying Product B, I need to upload the pdf (scanned order) that is attached to this record to the appropriate Product B folder, Company A subfolder on our SharePoint site. I would need it to catch an error if the folders on the SharePoint site do not exist.

We are attempting to keep a database of these records with the document attached, but also have the pdf files available on our sharepoint site also in the appropriate folder.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Steve
