Removing unwanted noise from .avi files RRS feed

  • Hi All,
    I need small help . Please let me know whether it is possible to remove noise from .avi files by using .Net (c#).If it is possible ,please let me know how to identify noise from the .avi files....Is there any APIs or dlls for idetifying noise from .avi files and remove it.

  • Media Foundation does not support AVI playback (without implementing a custom source). For AVI files, you should use DirectShow. (However, DirectShow is a native COM API. There is no official support for DirectShow in managed code.)

    I do not know of any APIs from Microsoft for general-purpose noise reduction. You could look at the Voice Capture DSP:
