Cannot open xaml.cs file. "The operation could not be completed" RRS feed

    HI

    My pc restarted for no an unknown reason and once I logged back in and opened my project that I was working on. It loaded the project fine but when I hit F7 to go to my code behind on the page that I was working before my pc restarted, an error comes up saying "The operation could not be completed" and if I try to open the xaml.cs file from the solution explorer it just opens a blank page in notepad.  The project I'm working on is a windows 8 app if it helps to differentiate.

    If anyone could possible help me with a solution to my problem it will be greatly appreciated.

    NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
