  • Question

  • From Himanshu (@Himjasy) via Twitter who tweets:

“There is a bug on Microsoft Azure while uploading any file on Azure Storage. Need this to be fixed as soon as possible.

Wait cursor or any information regarding uploading progress fails to be displayed in Azure Steps to reproduce:
    1. Navigate to portal.azure.com
    2. Login with valid credentials.
    3. Navigate to Storage account.
    4. Select any container.
    5. Click on Upload.
    6. Select any file in larger size to upload.
    7. Observe wait cursor or progress bar fails to be displayed. Actual result: User is unable to know whether uploading is started or not due to availability of any progress bar. Expected Result: User should be prompt with Progress bar regarding the same.

    Actual result:
User is unable to know whether uploading is started or not due to availability of any progress bar.

    Expected Result:
User should be prompt with Progress bar regarding the same.

Appreciate if you may be able to look into this and  / off any potential workarounds.

    Thanks.

  • We've released an upgraded experience for uploading blobs. You can now see the progress of uploads from within the above view itself. We've also enhanced it to support things such as upload to nested folders and to detect and upload VHDs as page blobs.
