  • HI,

I am not sure if I got your question correctly.

But in general to navigate to another report(drillthrough) you can choose a particular textbox to achieve this functionality. Now goto the properties of that particular textbox and select navigation tab. In that in Hyperlink Action section select Jump to report radiobutton and select the report you want to go to say Report B from the original report say Report A.

After doing this, in the Report Preview this textbox will act like a link and when u click on that link it'll take you to the Report B.

    Hope this helps...

  • This option is NOT available in the report builder available in SQL 2005.

right click of a text box only has "Format", and "Edit Formula"

it is SQL Server 2005 Reporting Service Report Builder version 9.00.3042.00

  • Hi SMF,

Yes maybe you are right. Thought the same features might exist in Report Builder too. Look into the thread given below-

  • Hi SMF,

You could download ReportBuilder 2.0, which supports Drill-through feature. But you could not deploy the report to the report server 2005. So if possible, you could update your SSRS version to SSRS 2008.

Report builder 2.0 is available at this link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9f783224-9871-4eea-b1d5-f3140a253db6&displaylang=en

    Thanks,

  • Of course you could just update Reporting services.
