Need new download manager RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

It's great that the rubbish File Transfer Manager has been retired (about 5 years too late), but can we have something in its place please? Internet Explorer just doesn't cut it, and Akamai doesn't seem to work.

I've just downloaded Visual Studio 2015 with update 1, a bloated 5.8GB, over my 8Mb link. And yes, it's corrupted. But I only find that once the download finishes.
