Obtaining a Certified for Server 2008 R2 logo for a kernel filter RRS feed

  • Question

  • We'd like to obtain a "Certified for Server 2008 R2 logo" for a product we've developed that is implemented as a  kernel filter.   I'm assuming that the product will have to be certified as an Unclassified device, but the page at     http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg487407.aspx  on Unclassified Signatures states:

"The Unclassified category is a signature-only category. Devices and drivers that are approved in this category will receive a Windows logo verification report and a digital signature on the drivers, but cannot use the Windows logo artwork."

Our whole purpose of going through the logo program is to get a logo we can use in our advertising and to get placement in the Windows Server catalog. Will we be able to do this for our filter product after going through the program?  There's a preliminary page on the product here

    Thank you.
