[MS-OXCRPC] Obscure referencing for standards assignment section RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • MS-OXCRPC Section 1.9 (e.g. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee203266%28v=EXCHG.80%29.aspx) is essentially a table. The third column "Reference" has obscure numbering. I guess that is meant to tell me the relevant section of MS-OXCRPC to look at, but it doesn't really make much sense - its basically duplicating Section 1.7 without enough context to understand what the reference relates to. The concept of a reference here should relate to the standard that describes it (e.g. the UUID for EMSMDB should have a reference to something like a section of C706 or MS-RPCE).

Perhaps this could be looked at for an edit / update when the document next gets looked at?
