boot loggers slow down the performance RRS feed

  • Question

  • I don't know if this place is the right one for my question. Sorry if it is not.....

using performance toolkit and resource monitor I found that after every boot, two files use extensive disk activities

    C:\Windows\System32\wdi\LogFiles\BootCKCL.etl

    C:\Windows\System32\config\SYSTEM.LOG*

What do they do exactly and how can I disable them. Since they are boot loggers, I don't think they are important!
