CLR profiler RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I am intrested in profiling the memory usage of the managed service.

I Have used perfmon and CLR profiler v1.1.

Is there any other profiler which can give more specific details?

  • There's a lively market for .NET profiling tools.  Google has your answer.

  • I'd recommend this for memory profiling: http://memprofiler.com/

I've used (and bought) both this and Ants Profiler from red gate (http://www.red-gate.com). I found the sci-tech offering to be more comprehensive for memory profiling tricky problems and you can connect to processes on the fly. However, the red gate one is fine for most circumstances and includes good performance profiling.
