howto figure out which program fills my disk RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a system running WES 7. On that system several other programs are installed.

For the partition C: the ewfmgr is enabled.

Somebody is writing continuously onto the partition C:. This cause that the available RAM shrinks continuously.

Now I have to figure out which program / software package is continuously writing to the partition C:.

What's the best and fastest way to do that?

Thanks in advance for your helpful answers.

  • Sean means procmon because filemon isn't supported above xp.
"Mark/Propose As Answer" if you got one.

  • You could try a utility like Filemon to monitor disk activity.
