  • That is the question you asked in http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winappswithnativecode/thread/7e937e68-9c52-4edf-9c7e-ff49f493d1a6 .  Please don't post the same question multiple times.

    If you look at radiomgr.h you will see that IMediaRadioManager is in the Desktop family and isn't available for Metro style apps.

  • Hello hot_blood,

    The reason that you are getting that error is due to the fact that the IID_IRadioInstanceCollection identifier cannot be found in the registry. The class indicated by that GUID has not been registered with the COM subsystem.

    Thanks,

  • Hello hot_blood,

    Just out of curiosity what exactly are you trying to do with the IMediaRadioManager? As far as I know we haven’t published any samples. Are you trying to use this interface from a Metro style application? I don’t think that it is callable from within Metro.

    Thanks,

    CoInitialzeEx(NULL,COINIT_MULTITHREADED);

    HRESULT hr = CoCreateInstance(IID_IRadioInstanceCollection,NUL,CSCTX_INPROC_SERVE,ID_PPV_ARGS(&radioInstancCollecton));

    why? hr = REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG 0x80040154 Class not registered
