WPF program can't deal the touchdown event in a touch machine? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Now I met a strange problem, I write a simple WPF4 touch program using .NET4, in the program, I only deal the touch down event. I run it in a touch machine, find it work fine. but I run it in the other machine, it work failed, it can't receive the touch down event, but it can receive the mouse event when user touch the screen. But I test the mspaint program in the same machine, find it work fine and it can deal the multi-user drawing, so its driver for multi-touch work fine.

Can you tell me how to solve the issue? thanks.

  • Can you please describe the machine that you are using where the event doesn't work?

I believe our Touch APIs are dependant on Windows 7. Is that machine a Windows 7 machine? What touch hardware are you using on the working machine? How about the machine where you are not getting events?

    Thanks, Rob
