Macro opening and closing another sheet- want to save changes? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I have a macro in Workbook1 -WB1 -that opens another workbook- WB2- copies some info from here and pastes into original workbook- WB1.- then closes

In excel 2007 it doesn't ask you do you want to save changes to WB2 when it closes- but in 2013 it is?- any idea why?

WB2 doesn't contain any live dates e.g =now() ; it will contain formula for adding things but thats all

Any idea how I stop it requesting to save changes- when none were made?

    Thanks

    David
