Animation before navigating RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I have a menu that appears in the middle of the page on the home screen.  I want users to click an item in the menu and for the menu to move to the top of the screen (where it belongs on all subsequent screens).

I can make the animated move and I can make the navigation occur but I can't make the animation occur before the navigation.  Any ideas?

  • By the way...

Ideally I would like it to be triggered at page level rather than control level - I only want this navigation to take place on the first page.  I have created the menu as a componentscreen so don't want the animation to exist in the component itself...

  • You should be able to use a navigation behavior with a storyboard completed trigger. Then make your animation as a storyboard and use a behavior triggered with a click to activate the animation.

  • Hi Drammy,

I have a short article on my blog with that makes sure that a storyboard won't start before the page has completed loading.

Maybe the code is also helpful to solve your problem.

    Best regards,
