Display Binary Image on digital signature acrofield in PDF using C# in ASP.Net RRS feed

  • Unfortunately all the code you posted is code we don't have access to so we cannot help you. In general you'll need to use a PDF library like iTextSharp to write to a PDF. Unfortunately we don't provide support for third party products here so you'll need to post in their forums. Nevertheless the library supports adding stuff to a PDF. If the PDF has that area as a field then setting the field is straightforward as shown in their documentation. If not then you're going to have to change the PDF that you're writing to.

For questions related to ASP.NET please post in the ASP.NET forums.

Also note that depending on what you're signing this may or may not be legally binding. Simply collecting a signature doesn't make it legal in all cases. You should consider looking into e-sign software like Docusign or similar. They provide APIs to easily sign documents and tools to create arbitrarily complex documents to be signed. Additionally they provide data such as when signed, e-mail support, etc.

  • Hi Jennifer,

    Thank you for posting here.

According to your description and codes,  I couldn’t’ understand your requirement clearly.

Could you please tell me the details information about the type of your asp.net application? MVC, Web API for Web Form?

Do you mean you want to add the Digital Signature in your PDF file?

Could you please post more details codes about generated the PDF file?

If you could post more details information, it will be more easily for us to understand your question clearly and find the solution.

Besides, since this forum is mainly talking about the C# issue, if you want to talk about asp.net issue, please go to the asp.net forum.

    Best Regards,

    Jack

  • Hi Jennifer.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Since this code is too long, I suggest that you could post it in the Web Forms Data Controls forum.

The Visual C# forum discusses and asks questions about the C# programming language, IDE, libraries, samples, and tools.

    Best Regards,

    Jack
