csc.exe error message RRS feed

  • Question

  • I constantly get a pop-up that says:

    csc.exe - bad image

c:\\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v4.0.30319\alink.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.  Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

I have no idea what program it is talking about or how to get rid of this message.  If you hit "ok" it goes away but then constantly keeps coming back.  I am not very tech savy so if you know how to get rid of this please provide me simple instructions if you can.    If it matters my computer is about 6 years old and runs vista.  Thanks
