How to pass DP WLK-Hot Add-Device Test" on Server2012 R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I always get BlueScreen error when running IO Stress Test under the DP WLK -Hot Add Device Test in Server 2012 R2.

I have updated the latest HCK package and drivers version but the test still failed.  How to pass this test in WHCK?

Blue Screen error message:  Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal (NDIS.sys)

  • Can you post output of running !analyze on the dump file you can collect (or from a live kernel remote)?

    Thanks

  • Is there any response to this failure?

    Regards,

    Mathan

  • Please make sure to install RTM version of the OS. You might be using an older build of the OS where this is a known issue.

    Thanks,
    Sandeep

  • Dear Sandeep,

Thanks for the response. If it is a known issue of the release preview OS, has this been documented anywhere?

    Regards,

    Mathan

  • Hi,

I've also encountered the DP WLK tests failure in my HCK 8.1 with Windows Server 2012 R2.

Any idea on how to resolve this issue, even latest filters doesn't have any scope of improvement.

  • Hi,

if you are running DP-WLK test for storage driver testing, then  remove partition other then OS partition on the same disk.

for network driver testing, I'm not seeing any kind of BSOD while running this tests.

    Thanks,

    Mudit
