When you face "Cannot open include file", you can search the required file from the GDK installation root directory. After find the location, you must follow the following steps

Project Properties > C/C++ > General > Additional Include Directories

or you can follow the steps from MSDN

  • Hi RidaSana,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

Based on my understanding, you have followed the etechplanet link; and after that ,you get the “ Cannot open include file: 'gdk-pixbuf/gdk-pixbuf.h' ” error, am I right? I suggest you follow Selvam’s advice.

It is not your Visual Studio version that makes sense, you should manually verify your header file’s path to Visual Studio configuration properties: “Project Properties > C/C++ > General > Additional Include Directories”, so that the compiler can find it.

I hope my suggestions will help.

    Regrads,

    Elegentin
