  • Hi Arun,

In a similar requirement with one of our customer, We managed to update the LT values based on a LOB system. We were running a job which gets the records in XML format from a different system & keeps the XMl on a location, Wrote a batch job which fires & gets the XMl file & uses PSI to update the LT values , just to make sure, we don't delete the values, check the LT name & LT_TEXT_VALUE, verify from XML, if we see additional record is added in XML, use the UpdateLookuptables from PSI & update the LT, as a pre check, it should not be checked out by someone, if found checked out, do a force checkin & continue.

Creates, modifies, or deletes data in custom field lookup tables. UpdateLookupTables creates lookup tables and corresponding code masks if the LookupTableDataSet includes new lookup tables, modifies existing lookup tables, and deletes lookup tables that are not in the LookupTableDataSet.

    Hope that helps.

  • You can copy/paste from Excel into the Lookup Table, I believe.

Resources can be updated by adding them all to the Project Pro client, then
editing manually or via copy/paste from Excel.

  • Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your response. We need to read the RBS data from another source and update in EPM. Is it possible to update the RBS lookup table through custom code.

    Thanks, Arun
