Uniquely Identify a PowerPoint Animation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I would like to programmatically perform some sorting and inserting operations on animation list. I would like to ask if there are ways to uniquely identify a powerpoint animation. For now, I try to identify an animation by using the shape names or shape ids. However, it is possible for one shape to be associated with more than 1 animations. Therefore, is there any attributes associated with animation object (i.e. animation id) so that I can uniquely identify an animation?

  • Hi,

    Free Spire.Presentation(https://www.nuget.org/packages/FreeSpire.Presentation/) supports to get a certain animation object by index.

    Presentation ppt = new Presentation(); ppt.LoadFromFile(FileName); ISlide slide = ppt.Slides[0];

    //get the third annimation in the first slide AnimationEffect anim = slide.Timeline.MainSequence[2];
