I was looking for a free Obfuscator tool for .NET 2.0 & 3.5.
I have checked out DotFuscator Community Edition. But that is limited to renaming. Does anyone knows of a similar tool with better obfuscation features on offer??Sunday, March 15, 2009 10:00 AM

Hi Yasser, I have just checked out XHEO's CodeVeil webpage. I must say the feature list if impressive. However, it might take sometime now, before I have the chance to download & test CodeVeil.Tuesday, October 20, 2009 10:09 AM

Not free, but affordable : Crypto Obfuscator (http://www.ssware.com/cryptoobfuscator/obfuscator-net.htm ) - supports symbol renaming, resource protection, assembly encryption, string encryption, control flow obfuscation, automatic resigning of assemblies, etcFriday, November 20, 2009 10:46 AM

Uma tabela de comparação:
http://www.eziriz.com/comparison.htm
eu recomendo o eziriz porque consegue converter o código MSIL em código de máquina (native code).

It was not true on that moment (03/21/2009). The Skater .NET obfuscator Light Edition (freeware version) is always offering a lot of free code protection features that are free of charge. Try the freeware obfuscator: http://www.rustemsoft.com/freeware_obfuscator.htmFriday, February 10, 2012 2:24 PM

Hey Rahul,
I am using FxProtect Express. It is also free .net obfuscator. You can try it.

I agree with LogicNP about Crypto Obfuscator. I tried it and it is better than free because of its speed and ease of setup compared to DotFuscator.
I tried Skater and it was very slow with my WPF project. I paid $300 for the professional version Crypto Obfuscator. Lots of nice features ... like encryption of string constants, and breaks Red Gate .Net Reflector on IL decompile. I figure I'll recoup the investment over a couple of years in time saved alone.

Yogesh, I suggest that you download the trial version of Crypto Obfuscator. I downloaded it from cnet.com since I trust this download site. See if you like it. That is how I decided to buy Crypto Obfuscator.

Try Agile.net obfuscator @secureteam.net , basic obfuscation features included with the community edition are quite extensive and would answers most of your needs if all you're interested is obfuscating your software.
Their paid version includes additional features including code encryption and code virtualization which are more advanced code protection techniques, in case you're developing a non-commercial software you can ask them for a FREE license for their commercial version.
