MS Access - Download File from Network Drive to Local C Drive RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm currently building a program for a company that's VBA / MS Access based. We came across an issue that some of the big wigs aren't very technology-oriented. When I do changes the the front end or interface of the program, they of course need to download it and copy and paste the new version into their C drive.

I was wondering if there is in fact a way to code using VBA where they can click a button and it will download the file from our shared Z: drive to their local C: drive to update their interface automatically.

Is this possible? I'm still a noob at 19 and no education, but I'm trying. It's actually become a passion, hobby and now an enjoyable job :) I just don't want to let them down.

    Thank you,
